The menu advertises roast beef and horseradish sauce as one of the Sunday lunch options so we ordered it. Plates arrived without horseradish sauce so we asked again... only to be told they'd run out. Bloody poor show. Will be interested to see if there is any feedback to this posting. Anywhere else they'd get done for misrepresentation.
Pleasent enough. Food to an average standardNegatives... Menus were sticky with food... No bar tabs allowed. With a large family group ordering meals and drinks. It would of been ideal.Not a place I would go back for food only for a drink..Staff were lovely
Great visit staff very busy and could not do enough for you. Food cooked to how you wanted it. A great atmosphere.
Was awful as a carvery and we thought when it reopened as a Generous George that it had got better, but the last couple of times we have been it isn't great. Trying to cram way to much into a small pub. Bring back the days before it was this & carvery.
This is a good place to go for a drink or food. Good range of beers and friendly staff. I had the tacos which were very nice. Been twice now and both times the fish ones weren't available to order.
